塵も積もれば山となる
◆意味
どんなに少しのものでも、積もり積もれば山のようになる。

No matter how small, if it keeps piling up eventually it will become a mountain.
◆使用例
1円でもいいから貯金するよ。「塵も積もれば山となる」からね。

◆一言メモ
仏教語からのことわざです。
大智度論が由来となっています。
鳩摩羅什訳「大智度論」巻94
「此の業の果報を受くれば、則ち度を得べきこと難し
譬えば微塵を積みて山と成さば、移動するを得べきこと難きが如し」
これが出典です。

地獄の沙汰も金次第

【意味】
どんなことも、お金さえあれば思い通りにすることが出来ること。
Whatever it is if you have money, you will be able to do what you wish.
【ゆらい】
地獄でえんまさまに裁かれる時、お金を出せば手加減(てかげん)
してくれるということ。
