The important quality of bamboo is that it grows fast and it grows just about everywhere except Europe and the
Antartica. Compared with traditional building materials such as wood and concrete bamboo is cheap to grow and harvest and I say that bamboo is safer in the event of an earthquake such that you don't get crushed immediately by concrete. |

According to an article in the APU Times, the student newspaper of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, the Current Job Hunting Situation for APU, "...let's all hope for a more positive environment for the coming graduates, and that as many as possible can join Japanese companies and become 会社員[kaishain = company employee]", Who in their right mind wants to become a company employee, a slave to a corporation? Is this what students today dream about becoming? |
